This site has two main goals - building a virtual archive for our history and providing a means to keep everyone up-to-date on the activities of Irgun Vatikei Habonim. In keeping with the first, we will add articles from various publications that add to our shared memories.
You can find them listed in the sidebar menu. The first is "The Rise & Fall of The Zig", a wonderful article witten by Norman Appleton (z"l) in 1994. The second is the story of Wellesey Aaron, the founder of Habonim. Others will follow as fast as they can be transcribed.Links to Habonim Kiibutzim and related sites.

In coming weeks and month we will be adding a lot more about Habonim UK and our contribution to both Israel and the Anglo Jewish world. Most reading this know about the our past. We are less aware of the fact that it still lives on but in ways that are quite different from our days.Yet it all belongs to our shared history. It is a story we can all be proud of having shared. As we approach the 80th Anniversary it is hoped to bring that story up-to-date
