Here is a response to an email received today that should be of interest to all

"As I noted on the site, the photo galleries are still not really ready to go. But I didn't want to hold back the site.

I agree with you about the size and focus. It's partially a problem of using a blog platform - the photo gallery has definite limitations.

I spent most of today working out another method to present photos  Will notify all when it's working properly"

Important notes before continuing -

• Contacting former friends
  Send us the name of the person you want to reach. An email will be sent to that person indicating you interest in contacting them. They will then contact you. At the same time we will let you know when we have sent the email to them.

  This policy is necessary to protect the privacy of our email list.

• Listing married chaverot
  It the name before marriage is known, it will be listed  with the notation "see under xxxxxxxx (current name)'.
  
  As editor I do not know the maiden names of most of the chaverot listed. It will be updated as fast as you, the reader, send me the information.
  
  
• Missing information or mistakes?
  Same issue - the information will be updated as quickly as received. Everyone knows other former chaverim. Send us their contact information so they can be added. That includes sending your own information if you are not listed!!

Jamboree Camp Bedford 1939

Here's a challenge for our senior Chaverim!

My aunt recently told me that she and a group of other Irish Habonim were at the Bedford in 1939. Was I ever surprised. I thought Dublin Habonim only started around 1949-50.

Does anyone remember the time a group of us led by Mike Abels (z"l) danced with a Sefer Torah somewhere around the entrance to Trinity College?
